How an Egg Membrane Supplement Supports Joint Health

June 18, 2020 Health 1 Comment

Painful medical conditions of the bones like arthritis and osteoporosis, to name a few, have caused people issues for a long time. One in every four adults complains about pain in their joints, heels, and general bone fragility in the U.S. But this is a global problem. These issues hamper normal daily functioning, leads to excruciating pain and worsens with age.

Calcium supplements and multivitamin tablets are the standard channels of treatment if the disease is diagnosed at a later age. At adolescence, we have always heard of consuming eggs, cooked or boiled, as being part of a nutritious diet. Did you ever wonder that the shell of the egg is a completely separate entity of nutrients made of calcium, all of which are directed to strengthening your bones and joints?

Natural Egg Membranes – How Does it Help?

It is surprising to know that the membrane of the eggshells is a rich source of fibrous proteins, collagen, chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid, dry glucosamine, and calcium. All of these biomolecules provide numerous potential benefits, and may actively treat poor bone and joint conditions, including osteoarthritis.

Collagen is a protein that treats wrinkles and arthritis, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid strengths the bones and cartilages, whereas the glucosamine and calcium are the novel part of the bone-supplement.

The Trials and the Results

Patients from 32 to 95 years of age, complaining of moderate pain in their bones and joints, were subjected to a study. The trial included giving a daily dose of a drug containing 500 mg of natural egg membranes.

On the 10th, 30th, and 60th day, the patients were asked questions related to the pain. The results tracked changes in levels of discomfort, and a significant improvement was noted.

Adult patients suffering from arthritis reported a visible improvement in motion, including climbing up and down the stairs, sitting and getting up from the floor, along with a marginal reduction in stiffness.

This directly indicates the validated fact that natural egg membrane positively feeds your bones without any adverse effects. There are several companies that formulate products with NEM, such as Four Elements and Cannaroo that employ Natural Eggshell Membrane as their active component. The next time you split an egg, don’t discard the eggshells. They might come in handy later. You can also look to these products as a pain alternative, or in combination with balms or other medicinal aids.

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such wonderful info being shared freely out there.
